Students have been working on the Buggy Lab.  We have now developed our first equation and we are in the middle of completing a challenge (Dueling Buggies).  A follow up sheet is posted below.

12.18

I have fallen behind with posts, but basically, we finished Not As Easy As Pie and we took a graphing test.  We are now ready to begin the Buggy Lab, where we will determine the relationship between position and time.

12.7

Students presented their findings from the Not As Easy As Pie lab, and we completed the analysis.

12.2

Students normalized their graph:  The relationship between length of pendulum and period turned out to be a square root function.  We took the square root of the lengths in order to make the relationship proportional.  Then, we were able to find slope and an equation for the line.
