The plot is 6 feet by 20 feet and 3 inches deep. The cost is $150 per cubic yard of stone. How much
stone will I need? (cubic yards) How much will it cost? ($). My wife will be mad if I spend more than
$200 on this. Will she be mad?
First I converted the measurements to yards. 6ft:2, 20ft:6 2/3: and 3in:3/36. Then I multiplied all three together to get 1 1/9. Lastly, I multiplied 1 1/9 by $150 to get $166.67. Yes, you will have enough money to buy the stones.
